Michael was survived by his loving life partner, Debbi Dotson; his caring children, Billy Smith, Anthony Dotson, Kala Horn, Tabatha Keirns, Amber Dotson, and Abbi Dotson; his sisters, Mary Jo Storts and Christina Smith-Cook, and grandchildren, Maddox Smathers and Kadence Noah Dotson and a host of friends and family.

Michael is a past worthy President of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles
