Barry McNeel Obituary

Barry Wayne McNeel, born January 20, 1964, in Meridian, Mississippi, and
passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 59, in Columbus, Ohio
after a long illness.

Preceded in death by parents John and Mary (Nelson) McNeel.

Graduated from University of Southern Mississippi, and Northeast
Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Mississippi.

He retired from Nationwide Insurance as a Project Manager.

Played the alto saxophone and the Flag Color Guard with the Columbus Pride
Band. Loved being a dog dad to several chihuahuas.

Barry is survived by many special friends and chosen family, brother John R.
McNeel and nephew John A. McNeel.

A celebration of life will take place later this year. Please feel free to make a
