David Pierre Poindexter Sr, 53, passed away on Friday March 11, 2022 in Clarksville TN. David was born November 1, 1968 in Indianapolis IN to the late John L Poindexter and Nancy Poole.
He is survived by his wife Leslie (Berry) Poindexter; his children Ronald Berry (Chasity), David Pierre Poindexter Jr., Deanna L. Poindexter and bonus daughter Diana Dudley; his brother John L. Poindexter of Hopkinsville KY, and 5 sisters of Indianapolis IN; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his mother and father.
The family is inviting friends and family for calling hours on Friday March 25, 2022 from 12 PM to 2 PM, at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave, Columbus. Service immediately follows at 2 PM with Military Honors being observed. Service is being officiated by Dr. Charles W. Ferguson.
