Frederick "Pops" William Nichols

Frederick “Pops” William Nichols, age 86, passed away at home on June 29, 2021. Pops was born on April 19, 1935 to the late John and Anna (Guest) Nichols in Bay City, Michigan. He was a high school graduate in Columbus, Ohio before joining the US military. Within the military, Pops joined the Air Force from 1955 to 1975. His service included 7 tours of duty in Viet Nam, earning several awards. He was known for his bravery, and loyalty to his fellow servicemen, his country, and his family. He battled the effects of Agent Orange, but still was proud of his service.

Pops was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mildred Nichols.

He will be missed by his sons, grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.

The family will have a small private graveside service in Canal Winchester.
