We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Edwards Funeral Service
On Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 Gary David Snell Jr. passed away at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born on March 30, 1971 to Marcia Snell and Gary Snell Sr. Gary worked in the kitchen at Ohio State University as a Sous Chef for many years. He was the oldest of 5 kids and the only ‘favorite’ son, an inside joke among his sisters. He was always the protector of all his family and never backed down from a dare or an adventure. Gary was known for his sense of humor, love for Michigan football, ICP, and his undeniable love for his family. He left a mark on all our hearts that will remain until we meet again.
Gary will be forever loved and missed by all of his family, his wife: Brandi Adams-Snell; his children: Katelin (Zac Chandler) Adams, Jack (Michaela) Adams and Jakob Adams; his mom: Marcia Snell; his sisters: Amy (Derek) Cremeans, Sara Snell, Jessica (Stephen) Jinks, Katie (Isaiah) Campbell; Neices: Christina Snell, Cali Jones, Larissa Lawhead, Ciana Lawhead, Willow (Logan Ratcliff) Lawhead, Hailey McGuire, Holly McGuire, and Koa Campbell; Nephews: Dylan (Hope) Barrows, Trevor (Jerzee) Barrows, Kenny Ray Cremeans, Silas Cremeans, Stevie Jinks, and Kylo Campbell; his granddaughter Jazlynn Adams-Jones; his great niece Journee Cates; his great nephew Mason Barrows; Aunts and Uncles: Wayne (Karen) Suber, Mary (Jim) Eader, Margie (Jeff) Musick, and Nancy Suber; longtime friend: William Stillwell; and many cousins and friends.
He quietly departed this life on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father Gary Snell Sr., daughter Shantelle Kennedy, niece Leona McGuire, and grandparents Leon and Shirley Suber.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. As Gary would say; Peace, love, and rainbows, long live the juggalos.
