Gregory Hardin Coleman, Jr

April 26, 1985 — September 18, 2022

Columbus

Gregory Hardin Coleman Jr. was born April 26, 1985 in Peoria, IL to Gregory and Geraldine Coleman. He
passed away September 18, 2022 at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in
Columbus, OH.

Greg was the life of the party and had a smile that would light up the room, but the one person that was
the light bearer of his life was his sweet daughter Dakota. If there was one thing anyone could tell you
about Greg, it was his immeasurable love for his daughter, his pride and joy.

Junior was an extremely talented D-1 athlete with physical abilities so amazing that he broke a plethora
of school records, most of which still have not been broken. He was contacted by several college recruiters early on in high school but ultimately decided on Iowa State University; he then went on to attend the University of Montana and was a beast on both football fields.

Junior loved his sisters deeply and brought a special joy to all his siblings: Glenay Coleman, Amanda Kusek, Ebony Randle, Tiffany Johnson, and Errington Fitzpatrick; as well as his nieces and nephews: Dallas Parkinson, Assiah Randle, Cashius Randle, Londyn Reid, Stylez Randle, Cameron Reid, Knowledge Moore, Celeste Harbin, Akilia Harbin, and Errington Stephens.

Greg was a manager at Pint House where he had an infectious ability to make people smile, laugh, and
feel welcome. He had a strong passion for those who loved him and had a specific way of showing and
delivering that love. He had a brotherly relationship with his cousins, a deep love for his lifelong friends in Iowa and Ohio, and left a genuinely charming impression on everyone he met.
