Jimmie Alan Davis Sr

JIMMIE ALAN DAVIS SR., 83 of Gahanna Ohio passed away Friday 21 August 2020 at Mount Carmel East
Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Jimmie was born November 15, 1936 in Columbus Ohio. He graduated from
Columbus West High school June 1954. Jimmie was married to Maddline workman January 26, 1963.
Jimmie and Maddline were married for 57 years. He had two sons, Jeff Davis and Jimmie Alan Davis Jr.
Jimmie has a long work history starting at age 17, he later starting with Chrysler financial in 1969 to
1985, he was Vice President and Regional Credit Manager for Barclays American from 1985-1989 and
again With Chrysler Financial from 1989-1994 when he finally retired. In his spare time Jimmie loved
playing golf and spending time with his family. Jimmie is preceded in death by father Carl, mother
Margaret, sister Donna, son Jimmie Jr and step son Scott. Jimmie leaves behind wife, Maddine, son Jeff,
daughter-in-law Mary, two grandchildren, Sara Campbell and Jimmie Davis III and three great
grandchildren, Emma, Klara and Grayson and many cousins and relatives.
