Marvin Alonzo Lauderdale, age 63, passed away in Columbus, OH on 8/1/2022. He was born in Columbus, OH on July 02, 1959 to Alonzo and Ethel Mae Lauderdale.

Marvin is preceded in death by his beloved parents Alonzo and Ethel Mae; siblings Bertha, Deleonard (Tiny), Jerimiah (Jerry); nieces and nephews Carol, Renee, Greg, Mark, Belinda, Dorinda, and Perry. Marvin is survived by his fiancée Susan Moore and her beautiful family; siblings Sonny Hudson, Jimmy Hooper, Terry Hooper, Sarah Brown, Faynetta Hooper, Benny Myers, Marvetta Harris; children DeMicheal, Deanna, Tasha; grandchildren Lewis, DeMarcus, Kiylee, Star'Bella, Destiny, Daniah, Lennox, Rajih, DeMarion, Rayni; nieces and nephews Snook, Booby, Kaye, Brian, Matt, Elaine, Norman, Lorraine, Lil Jimmy, Calvin, Tynette, Tylene, Tyrone, Christine, Benny Jr, Joshua, Quinton, Tyson; great niece and nephew Donte, Sabrina, Cobb, and many great nieces and great nephews, along with a lot of great great nieces and great great nephews. Life long brothers from other mothers Rocky Scruggs and Dwight Mangum.

Marvin loved the Lord and his church where he served as an ordained minister. He loved his family and love ones dearly, and really enjoyed spending time with them all. He loved his nice cars and sports. He was a huge fan of " The Ohio State". In early childhood he played sports through high school, and later in life, he helped coach a few teams in Franklin County. Marvin really enjoyed life and helping others which put a big smile on his face that was very infectious.

We will celebrate the loving life and legacy of Marvin Alonzo Lauderdale, on August 13, 2022, from 12pm to 2pm at his church Bethel B. M. Church located 581 Seymour Avenue, Columbus, OH 43205.
