Michael John Girlando

Michael J. Girlando, age 65, completed his job on earth August 1, 2020. He was born March 7, 1955 in Cambridge OH. Mike was a resident of Columbus OH most of his adult life.  He was a member of North Park Church of Christ in Westerville.

Preceded in death by parents Dorothy (1980) and Alfred (2011) Girlando.

Survived by son Vincent, sister Joyce Gassin, step-mother Ruth Girlando, good friends Doc and Mary, Debbie, Jacquie, the people of the North Park Church of Christ, and many other relatives and friends.

Mike battled both lung and bladder cancers since 2008, never giving up. He was a Viet Nam era veteran of the US Navy and Navy Seabees. At Mike’s request he will be cremated and buried at sea by the US Navy.
