Ms. Othelia Renee Patterson

Othelia Renee Patterson, 74 of Bluefield WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2023.

Othelia, affectionately known as Mitzi, was born on April 13, 1950, to the loving home of Georgia and Earnest Moore. She attended
Bluefield High School. In 1979, not long after graduating High School, She moved to Columbus, OH.

Othelia was employed with Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare. She has over 25 years of service in her career. She had the most loving, caring, and nurturing spirit.

Mitzi was a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church. She served as a nurse and a member of the kitchen staff. She loved her church and her Pastor. She always made sure the pastor’s eyeglasses were clean at service. She wanted to make sure he could read the word.

Mitzi enjoyed having a good time with her family and friends.  She was a proud member and lifer of the Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club. She would wear her colors proudly.

Othelia was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia and Earnest Moore; Son, William “Noonie” Patterson; Brothers, Richard Burks and William Patterson.

Othelia leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, Son, Jamie (Autumn) Hollie; Grandchildren, Shyra Dorsey, Jamie (Shallonda) Johnson, Jamika Hollie, Jay’d Williams, Jamiah & Jeremiah Wilson, Jasmine Patterson, Maya, Patterson, Jaia Patterson and Tyra Patterson; Greatgrandchildren, Jamie, Ja’Von, JaLaya and Dayzia; Brothers, Waston Jones, Art (Becky) Jones, Michael Jones, Jimmy Jones, Luis Jones, Manual Burks; An abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation and Funeral will be held at St. John's Baptist Church.
