Richard Todd Adams

Richard Todd Adams was struck by a car on September 30, 2021. As a result of the injuries sustained, Richard passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2021.

Born June 23, 1970, at Maywood hospital, in Los Angeles, California. Richard was the highlight of his family.  As the first-born son and grandson in his family, he brought much joy and happiness to everyone. As a child, Richard was very smart, inquisitive and loving.

Richard was a hard-working, fun and full of life Tradesman that took pride in every angle and design he worked on. Richard attended college at Urbana University and Muskingum College. Richard was a certified Optical Technician and Construction Journeyman.  When not busy with work, Richard would take on odd jobs in order to stay busy.  Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Richard was an avid lover of scrabble. There was not a word he could not spell or define. Richard loved playing cards, fishing and fantasy football and all sports in general. Richard loved music and attending concerts, traveling and exploring nature.

Richard is survived by his mother Rebecca Webb-Sylvis of Delaware, Ohio Son Richard E. Adams and Grandson Hyde Adams of Reno, Nevada, Daughter Taehler R. Adams and grandson Taevian Harris of London, Ohio. Sister Rachel Harperree, (Alicia) and Niece Kendyll Thompson of Buckeye Lake, Ohio. Aunt Kristel (Gary) Farris of Sherwood, Oregon. Cousins David, Daniel and Rebecca of Sherwood, Oregon. Cousins Amanda and April of Seattle Washington and several near and dear lifelong friends.

Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents-Joseph and Wilma Wathen, Grandfather -Thomas Webb, Father Ronnie Sylvis, Uncles Thomas Webb and Jim Remillard.

A celebration of life will take place in the near future (TBD).
