Rickie Allen Bates

Rickie Bates, 62, passed away on August 24, 2020. He was born on May 1st, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Betty Bates.

Rickie is survived by wife Karen Bates, sister Vickie Johns, brother Buddy Bates, daughters Heather (bob) Arthur, Ashley Bates, sons Wesley and Shaun Bates, grandchildren Courtney (Dallas) Arthur, Preston (shawna) Arthur, Deanna (Tyler) Arthur, Makiah and Trey Russell, Izaiah Bates, Haylee Branham, great grandchildren Landon Arthur, Aubrey and Amelia Collins.

Rickie was preceded in death by sister Fawn Crane and brother Donald Bates.

Rickie was a loving and outgoing dad and papaw. He loved hunting and fishing. He lived life to the fullest.

In keeping with Rickies wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date with close family and friends!
