Steven Jason Kuehner

Steven Jason Kuehner, 43 known to all as Jason, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Jason was born Saturday, July 12, 1980, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus Ohio to Steve Kuehner and Kathy powers.

To those who truly knew Jason knew how much he loved camping, fishing, collecting antiques, placing bets and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes! Most of all, he loved his boys, Kamron 24 and Jace 11. His boys were truly his best friends, often saying, "those boys are the best thing I've ever done!" Jason took immense pride in watching Jace play football, basketball and baseball, helping Kamron follow in his footsteps working in the home maintenance industry, having a new grandson and the fact that all three of them looked just like him.

Often called a jack of all trades. Jason was great with his hands. He could fix just about anything from cars to in-home maintenance to cooking dinner. He loved to cook, and he was great at it! One of his favorite things to do was to share all his talents with the ones he loved. He would do just about anything for anybody, no questions asked, and he never knew a stranger.

Although he had his own personal struggles, Jason's heart was pure, he loved his family. He loved his friends and although at times it was hard for him to believe, He was very much loved by so many. He will be missed so very much, but thankfully, Jason will live on each day through his "Kuehner boys", Kamron, Jace, and Hayes. 

Jason leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his sons Kamron Kuehner (Amberly Demchak) and Steven Jace Kuehner, along with his six-month-old grandson, Hayes Kuehner. Also survived by his maternal grandmother Ruth Powers (Paul Helenthal), brother, Tyler MacDonald, and father, Steve Kuehner.

Along with his immediate family, Jason will be deeply missed by many uncles, aunts, cousin’s nieces, nephews, along with the family of the boy’s mothers, and so many friends. 

Proceeded in death by his mother, Kathy Powers, parental grandfather, Nelson Kuehner, parental grandmother Ann Pozz, Maternal grandfather Wayne Powers, paternal uncle Martin Kuehner and Cousin Elizabeth Kuehner. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at Edwards Funeral Service German Village Chapel 1166 Parsons Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43206. Viewing hours start at 11:00 am with a short service following immediately after at 12:00 pm.
