Violet Baker, 88, passed away on January 27, 2022, surrounded by family. Violet was born on July 27, 1933, to the late Noah and Ella Mae Triplett in Webbville, Kentucky.
Violet was known for her love of her kids, grandkids, family, and many friends. She enjoyed playing guitar, making art, and finding hidden gems at thrift stores. She also loved watching old cowboy movies, listening to Elvis, and spending time with friends.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, the late Noah and Ella Mae Triplett; and children William Lawson, LeRoy Baker, Sharon Shamblin, and Ella Mae Baker.
Those missing her passing are her sons Max Baker Jr., David Baker, and son-in-law James Marioth; daughter Wanda Kaplansky and daughter-in-law Deanna Baker; grandchildren Brandy, Randy, Sandra, Jesse, Johnathan, Ava, Lily, Rhonda, Connie, Amanda, Jessica, La Tia, Chelsea, Nikki, Timmy, and Robert; and many great-grandchildren and friends.
Visitation is from 1 PM - 3 PM with a service by Pastor Martin Guerena from 3 PM - 4 PM, Monday February 7, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave., Columbus 43206 with a burial on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 12 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, 6916 West State Route 95, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43348.
